Welcome Aboard!

The Homer Glen Southern Railway is a fictional model railway that 'operates' several small fixed and portable O-gauge layouts.  It's intended purpose is to showcase that O-gauge model railroading does NOT require massive space and/or budgets.  You can operate a fun and affordable layout of your very own, without spending thousands of dollars!  The HGS was created to be that example.  Climb aboard as we explore the fun and creative ways to a mini railroad empire!
